You are light

The Name Phos

The Greek term Phōs ( φῶς /foʊs/ pronounced with the “long O” sound /oʊ/) is from Ephesians 5:8, "For you were once darkness, but now you are light (phōs ) in the Lord. Live as children of light" and Matthew 5:14, 16, “You are the light (phōs ) of the world . . . let your light (phōs ) shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven."

Phos Life

Those who are spiritually poor—suffering the "greatest injustice" of little or no access to the gospel—are often also physically poor.

Being a light (phōs) among the unreached means engaging in evangelism, discipleship, and fostering the fullness of life in God. Phos Life takes a holistic approach to poverty, working toward the complete transformation of communities.
